The first of many international rally wins came for Mini in 1962 with the Tulip Rally which was shortly followed by a double win in the Monte Carlo Rally in 64 & 65. In 1966 Mini was denied a hat-trick at the Monte Carlo rally as all three Minis were disqualified over a questionable technicality. However in 67 Mini returned avenging the disqualification and won, making it 3 wins for Mini at the Monte Carlo Rally. Overall Mini won a total 17 international rallies ΓÇö not a bad introduction to the racing world!
